About Dr. Veejay Deshpandey
Dr. Veejay Deshpandey is a consulting dental surgeon and implantologist who has practised in Thane (Mumbai) for over four decades, including eight years of practice in the Middle East.
After his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mumbai University, he completed a post-doctorate in Oral Implantology — D.U. (Oral Implantology) — from Lille University, France. He was awarded the Fellowship of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, USA, and is the first Indian to receive this honour, for which he was felicitated by the then Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. P. C. Alexander.

Professional experience
He graduated from the Government Dental College, Mumbai in 1977 and has practised clinically in India and the Middle East ever since. Trained extensively in advanced maxillo-mandibular reconstructive implantology with a post-doctorate from D.U., Lille 2, France, he has worked as a consultant implantologist since.
He specialises in diagnosing and treating full mouth rehabilitation cases and complicated procedures such as ramus frame implants, sinus grafting, bone grafting and reconstruction, cosmetic corrections and smile design, and is trained in treating medically compromised patients across all age groups.
An international speaker, he has presented nationally and internationally, conducted extensive hands-on courses and trained more than 400 dental surgeons in implant dentistry.
